Meet Our Team

Emily Geizer, LMBT
Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist | Myofascial Release Practitioner | Co-Founder of Triangle Body Therapy

Long before becoming a licensed massage therapist, Emily was already neck-deep in the world of health, healing, and the human body. What started 30 years ago as a personal quest to feel at home in her own skin — experimenting with every diet, wellness trend, and healing modality out there — slowly and steadily became something much more grounded: a calling to help others return to themselves too.

She became a certified health coach in 2012 and built a practice supporting women to feel better through nutrition, mindset, and lifestyle shifts. While these are powerful strategies, Emily has seen over and over again how many women are trapped in fight-or-flight, a symptom of nervous system dysregulation that makes sticking to healthy habits very difficult, plus often leads to it’s own stubborn weight (the reason many women begin working with her).

Hands-on healing can offer a supportive method to automatically down-shift your chronic stress without extra effort. It signals safety to the brain, calms the nervous system, and fosters deep relaxation - something we all need more of.

Outside the treatment room, she’s most at home in nature, launching her kids into the world with her husband and co-practitioner, Owen, and living the same grounded, active lifestyle she encourages in her clients.

Owen Dodge, LMBT
Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist | Myofascial Release Practitioner | Co-Founder of Triangle Body Therapy

Owen is among the most experienced Myofascial Release (MFR) therapists in the Carolinas and has spent hundreds of hours training directly with MFR’s founder, John F. Barnes, PT. He’s been a massage therapist for more than a quarter century, logging well over 20,ooo hours of hands-on experience. He can’t imagine a more fulfilling career made any other way.

An active lifestyle has always been a vital part of Owen living his best life... time spent almost every day in big old woods with his dogs, exploring the Haw River, foraging for wild mushrooms balanced by a dedicated focus on healthy eating, biking, yoga, meditation, breath work, seasonal cold water plunges combine for more energy and bigger happiness and inner resources to meet the demands of a busy family and practice. These lifestyle commitments keep him on his A game, which mixes perfectly with his motivation to help clients feel their best so they can also enjoy active lifestyles.
